Tawnee Stone What Happened To Her

"favorite" of 2010

That concludes the 2010! After a small dot on my challenges of the year, I launched here in 2010 my favorites ...

Despite many discoveries, here are the titles of novels that convinced me the most this year:
A real dive childhood. In reading this novel, I'm young reader magazine is taking heroin, dreaming and reading with passion.
I found a pen strong, intelligent, efficient, no frills. A real pleasure! Since then, I offered myself The Razor's Edge and I had the full news of Somerset Maugham as a gift.
Confirmation of absolute love, full trust, ...
An author who never disappoints me. When I open one of his novels, I totally immersed in this world incredible and exciting. I found all these wonderful feelings it feels like reading a novel incredible.
Because it is written that Pearl Buck's novels are always favorites.
Despite the harshness of the language and text, a novel necessary and upsetting.
What to say? I like his world, his pen, his intelligence, his sensitivity, its beautiful language ... Like, I even deify his universe so compelling and addictive.
First reading of Wilkie Collins and big favorite for the atmosphere. A thrilling plot and an unforgettable atmosphere.
I have shed tears while reading this novel! A beautiful gem of literature, the discovery of a pen that I reread very quickly.
A beautiful and moving family saga, a simple but profound.
A poetic text that moved me tremendously. Great gentleness and sensitivity incredible!
Because this novel has everything I love about Zola. Style frank and effective, a gripping story, striking scenes as much by their violence by their sensitivity, unmatched blend of poetry and realism.
A novel way you like, a perfect heroine, a hero unforgettable, a gripping story that reads a Trafficking ... Short! Génialissime a novel!
...
Many value this year as safe Zweig, Buck, Dumas, ... but also discoveries (Gaskell, Somerset Maugham, Wharton, Wilkie Collins, ...) that I will lengthen with happiness.
2010 was rich in reading but I also found heavy challenge (as I explain here ), 2011 will be calmer on that side. I want more freedom, I want my hand turns whatever happens to the reading of my choice and not one out of three on a reading "challenge" ...
...
Happy New Year 2010 and Happy New Year 2011!
